Mental health- an urge matter in COVID-19

COVID-19 has caused major changes in our daily life routine, as our movements are limited to supporting efforts to reduce the spread of the virus. Given the new reality of working from home, being unemployed, school-going children at home, and the lack of meeting with family members and well-wishers, it is an urge to take care of our mental, physical, and health.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tan Desai, said: “Good mental health is absolutely the foundation of overall health and well-being.” He also noted that World leaders must act quickly and decisively by taking necessary life-saving steps during and after the pandemic. Together with its partners, WHO provides guidance and consultation to health care workers, child caretakers, the elderly, the isolated, and the general public during the COVID19 pandemic to help us take care of our own mental health.
